Working on our calendar art

Today we made a start on our calendar art.

We used black paper and colourful paint.

First we drew 5-7 lines.

Then we painted the background of some of the spaces we had made.

We talked about different ways to use circles and donuts. We could change the size, the number of colours in each space and whether the colours touched or not.

We also looked at the colour wheel and what colours would look good together.

Most of us are really happy with ours. But some of us were very critical of our own art work.
